DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Old Worcester Parrot" pattern teacup (A) and saucer (B) painted in a famille-rose palette heightened with gilding in the center with an iron-red parrot perched amidst a grape cluster and flowering branches with a floral border. The exterior of the cup and the interior of the saucer are press-molded with the "Chrysanthemum" pattern of a scrolling floral vine against a pebbled ground.
