DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Old Worcester Parrot" pattern fluted saucer dish painted in a famille-rose palette heightened with gilding in the center with an iron-red parrot perched amidst a grape cluster and flowering branches, the well finely fluted, and the rim with a floral border within an iron-red line at the gilt edge. The center star is cracked and worn, tthe rim edge has some wear, and the footrim is beveled.
