DescriptionThis is an early Worcester 'Boy on a Buffalo' Pattern Teabowl (A) and Saucer (B). Each piece thinly potted and 'penciled' in black with a Chinaman waving a prod, seated on a water buffalo near a pine tree and a cottage, and observing two sampans, the teabowl interior painted with an insect and three floral sprigs, and the underside of the saucer rim with the tips of three pine boughs.
