DescriptionThis is a 'Prunus Root' Pattern Teabowl and Saucer. Each piece painted with a flowering prunus tree growing from a gnarled root, the flowering branches continuing onto the interior rim of the teabowl and the exterior rim of the saucer near a flitting insect. The saucer with a workman's mark in underglaze-blue.
