DescriptionThis is a 'Prunus Root' Pattern Teabowl (A) and Saucer (B). Each piece painted with a flowering prunus tree growing from a gnarled root, the flowering branches continuing onto the interior rim of the teabowl and the exterior rim of the saucer near a flitting insect. The saucer with a crescent mark in underglaze-blue.
