DescriptionThis albumen carte de visite is a three-quarter-length seated portrait of J. J. Cisco. It is from the studio of Charles DeForest Fredericks (American, 1823-1894). The mount is rectangular with the face of the card bordered by double gilt lines; slightly rounded corners. Mr. Cisco is seated facing proper right; his right elbow rests on a table; his gloved right hand holds a glove.
