DescriptionInkstand, glass blown into a copper frame, with a faint green patina on the body. The bronze framework of the body is created by two rows of rectangular apertures. The bottom row of apertures are separated by small triangular openings. Small diamond-shaped openings separate the two rows. Opaque jade-green glass was blown through the framework. The hinged bronze cover has an intaglio design of irregular lines. Inside the inkstand is an inkwell of clear mold-blown glass. Similar piece in Koch, G-B-L, p. 91, Fig. 103.
