DescriptionBlown opaque white glass on a transparent ruby grounds, cameo carved by sandblasting. Classical scene depicting a nude female figure with drapery standing on a stone-paved terrace beside a pool. To the left of the figure is the corner of a colonnaded building with a burning brazier. In the background tot he right of the figure, a row of potted plants raised on a plinths suggests the presence of a path or stairway descending down the hill toward a distant temple. In the foreground to the right of the figure is a bench supported by a griffin. The plaque is round with four semicircular cutouts in its edge.
