DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. This is a photograph General Haskin and his staff. The eleven soldiers are in uniform in a small, carpeted room. Seven of the men are seated while the other four stand behind the others. The General in the center comes across to be the oldest in the group and looks as though his left hand/arm is missing. There is a window to the right allowing light into the room for the photograph. This is Plate 10 from _Gardner's Photographic Sketchbook of the War_ (Hack Collection No. 50).
