DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. Near the left-center of the photograph a tall wooden tower is present. Several men are standing on the ground near it as well as on it. Four ladders are propped up the tower for access to the top. A covered wagon is located just to the right of the tower as well as a tree that extends into the frame. Below the photo, text reads "General Grant and Staff at City Point, Va." This is from _Gardner's Photographic Sketchbook of the War_ (Hack Collection No. 2].
