DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Prunus Root" pattern leaf-shaped pickle dish. The interior has an insect hovering near a flowering prunus tree and other plants growing from a gnarled root with the blossoming tree branches continuing over the wavy rim onto the sides of the exterior. The exterior has another winged insect. There is a crescent mark in underglaze blue. The rim has a hair crack.
