DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Prunus Root" pattern cream jug. The lobed baluster-form body has a molded S-scroll handle. It is painted with a flowering prunus tree growing from a gnarled root amidst grasses with the blossoming branches continuing over the scalloped rim and into the interior. The reverse has a further bifurcated flowering branch and two insects. The spout has a small discoloration spot and the whole piece has some speckling.
