DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Prunus Root" pattern small conical bowl painted in soft shades of underglaze blue. The exterior has a flowering prunus tree growing from a gnarled root amidst grasses with the blossoming branches continuing over the rim and into the interior near a flitting insect. There is a workman's mark in underglaze blue.
