DescriptionThis is a Coffee Cup (A) in the 'Ruins' Pattern and a Saucer (B) in the 'Bird Coop' Pattern. Each piece printed in purple, enameled in green, yellow, brown and iron-red or rose and turquoise, and heightened in gilding, the cup with a scene of two men observing classical ruins on one side and an Italianate landscape on the reverse, the saucer and with purple enamel line around the rim, and each rim edged in gilding.
