DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Wet Blue"-ground coffee cup (A) and saucer (B). Each piece is reserved with three fan-shaped panels painted in shades of rose, purple, iron-red, yellow, and green with floral garlands, edged in gilding issuing gilt floral and foliate sprigs and alternating with three gilt-edged roundels painted with floral sprigs. The center of the saucer has a further gilt-edged roundel painted with a rose and green tulip. The rims are edged in gilding.
