DescriptionThis is an assembled Pair of Early Worcester 'Pedestal' Sauceboats. The same model as L2005.10.124, but each is painted in an expanded famille-verte palette in the rococo cartouche on either side with a Chinese lady holding a flowering branch and standing in a river landscape, the cartouches under the spout and on the ankle with foliate sprigs, and the interior painted in the center with a differing floral sprig, and on the spout and flaring scalloped rim with precious objects and flowering branches.ProvenanceHenry Clay Hofheimer, II
