DescriptionThis is a Worcester blue-scale oval sauce tureen stand. It is reserved in the center with a lightly scalloped oval panel edged with a thin iron-red line, pained in a Kakiemon palette of iron-red, yellow, green, and blue with a flowering plant and small rocks and surrounded by two long and two smaller molded rococo cartouches heightened in rose and painted with similar flowering plants or sprigs. The rim is edged with an iron-red line. There are pseudo-Chinese seal marks in underglaze blue. There is some pitting and speckling at one end of the center.
