DescriptionThis is a Worcester fluted coffee cup (A) and saucer (B). Each piece has a gold- and black-edged turquoise-ground border decorated with a black and white cable device. They were later decorated in the manner of the "Spotted Fruit Painter" in shades of rose, purple, yellow, blue, and green with two or three large clusters of fruit alternating on the cup with two smaller clusters. The center of the saucer has a smaller cluster within a gilt roundel.ProvenanceHenry Clay Hofheimer, II
