DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Queen Charlotte" pattern teabowl (A) and saucer (B) painted in underglaze blue heightened in gilding with spiraling panels of blossoms and C-scrolls alternating with panels of rose and iron-red blossoms and leaves beneath an iron-red foliate vine border and a rose flower head in the cetner. There are pseudo-Chinese seal marks in underglaze blue. Both items have central wear and the saucer has chips in the rim.ProvenanceHenry Clay Hofheimer, II
