DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. This photograph is a black and white picture from 1863. In the foreground is a large field and it shows a building in the center that is several stories high. There is a fence built nearby as well as a few trees. The bottom of the picture reads "The Theological Seminary, used as a Hospital: The battle first commenced a short distance in the rear of this building; and here may be seen the spot upon which the brave and gallant Gen.
