DescriptionThis is a 'Blind Earl' Pattern Sweetmeat Dish. Characteristically molded with two sprigs of blue-shaded rose leaves and two buds issuing from the knotty stem handle, the interstices painted with a caterpillar, a beetle, a ladybird and two winged insects within the scalloped rim edge. Crescent mark in underglaze-blue.
