DescriptionThis is a Worcester fluted teacup (A) and saucer (B). Each piece is painted in shades of rose, purple, iron-red, grey, green, and turquoise in Chinese Export style with a spray and sprigs of flowers beneath a gilt-scallop-edge gros bleu border embellished with three or six gilt leaf sprays. The center of the cup has a small floral spray. The saucer has a crescent mark in underglaze blue. The rim edges have some wear to the gilding. The cup has a beveled footrim. The saucer has some wear to the central enamels.
