DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Maltese Cross Flower" pattern rice spoon. The lozenge-shaped bow is painted in the center with a quatrefoil blossom within four ginkgo leaves and trailing stems of further blossoms and leaves extending up the tapering concave handle toward the applied floret terminal. The exterior of the bowl is painted on either side with a floral sprig. There is a script W mark in underglaze blue. The bowl rim has a reglued chip issuing a hair crack. The tip of the handle is reglued.
