DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Prunus and Chrysanthemum" pattern saucer painted in an Imari palette of underglaze blue, iron-red, green, and gilding with a "Kempthorne"-type pattern. The center has a flowering prunus branch between a long, trailing, leafy branch and a stem of chrysanthemums. There is a pseudo-Chinese seal mark in underglaze blue. There is a small chip on the rim.
