DescriptionThis is a 'Chrysanthemum' Pattern Spherical Teapot (A) and Cover (B). Each piece press-molded with a scrolling floral vine against a ground of pebbling and painted on the shoulder or rim with a border of stylized foliate devices and hatched panels, the base of the pot encircled by a border of blue petals, and the cover painted in the center with a chrysanthemum blossom interrupted by the floral sprig knop.
