DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Queen Charlotte" pattern spherical teapot (A) and cover (B). Each piece is painted in underglaze blue heightened in gilding with spiraling panels of rose and iron-red blossoms and leaves beneath an iron-red foliate vine border around the shoulder and cover rim. The cover has a teardrop knop feathered in iron-red. There is a pseudo-Chinese seal mark in underglaze blue. The cover is married.
