DescriptionThe David L. Hack Civil War Photography Collection. This photograph reveals two soldiers inside a tent. Both men have swords at their sides. One man is seated on a sleeping cot, holding a handful of papers. The other man is seated at a writing desk filled with papers. There is another chair off to the left side near this desk. In between the two men a dark bottle, shaped like a wine bottle, rests on a table. This is from _Gardner's Photographic Sketchbook of the War_ (Hack Collection No. 2].
