DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Old Japan Fan" pattern saucer dish painted in the center in an Imari palette with a large gilt mons within an underglaze blue roundel reserved with a white flowering vine and surrounded by gilt-patterned fan devices alternating with circles. The exterior is painted in underglaze blue and iron-red with two trailing flowering branches. There are pseudo-Chinese characters marked within a double circle in underglaze blue.
