DescriptionThis is a Worcester blue-scale teacup (A) and saucer (B). The cup has two and the saucer has three gilt scroll-edged "mirror"-shaped cartouches painted with exotic birds and alternating with "vase"-shaped cartouches and triangular panels of insects. The saucer is reserved with a central gilt scallop-edged roundel painted with three insects. There is a pseudo-Chinese seal mark in underglaze blue.
