DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Fence" pattern milk jug. The pear-shaped body has a loop handle and is transfer-printed with peonies growing by a Chinese garden fence on one side and with two ducks in flight above a hut on an island in a river landscape on the reverse. The interior rim has two underglaze blue lines at the edge. The cover now has the appraisal number 64.
