DescriptionThis is a Worcester Imari pear-shaped milk jug painted in underglaze blue with two rows of six spiraling petal-shaped panels. Three panels in the upper row and all panels in the lower row are painted with a floral sprig. The alternating upper panels are painted with an underglaze blue ground patterned with gilt trelliswork centering a prunus blossom. The back has a grooved loop handle.
