DescriptionThis is one of a pair of Worcester fluted saucers. Each saucer is painted in the center with a blue, yellow, iron-red, and rose Chinese pheasant perched on a leafy branch. The gilt-edged scalloped rim has a border of rose-stippled pink panels reserved with gilt-feathered demilunes, edged with gilt C-scrolls suspending swags of hops and joined by rose bowknotted ribbons.ProvenanceHenry Clay Hofheimer, II
