DescriptionThis is a Worcester fluted ovoid tea canister (A) and cover (B) painted with four rose and gilt trellises suspending swags and garlands of iron-red hops and green leaves between gilt-edged turquoise scalework borders around the shoulder and above the gilt bead-and-reel -bordered circular foot. The cover is similarly decorated around the floral sprig knop. The knop is damaged and the cover rim has a restored chip.
