DescriptionThis is a 'Rose and Floral Sprays' Circular Broth Bowl or Small Tureen (A) and Cover (B). The bowl with blue-heightened fluted fan-shaped handles and the cover with a large rose-sprig knop, the bowl painted on the front with a floral spray and sprig and on the reverse with two large sprigs, and the cover painted with a rose spray and two large sprigs. Each piece with a workman's mark in underglaze-blue.
