DescriptionThis is a Worcester plate painted in the London workshop of James Giles in two shades of green with a large cluster of fruit and flowers, two mushrooms, a sprig of rose hips, another of auriculas, and two small sprigs of a flower or leaves. The petal-shaped rim is edged in gilding. There are some enamel chips and speckling. The gilding on the rim edge is worn.
