DescriptionThis is a Worcester "French shape" fluted ovoid tea canister (A) and cover (B). It is decorated with six gilt S-scroll motifs forming elongated "figure eights" interrupting a garland of turquoise and black garrya husks and pendants, all between a gros blue border edged in gilt dentil. There are C-scroll bands around the shoulder and a band of turquoise and black garrya husks around the lower body. The cover is similarly decorated around the floral sprig knop. The cover has chips under the rim and a hair cracked flange. The knop has been reattached.
