DescriptionThis is a Worcester Pear-Shaped Milk Jug. The finely fluted body painted at a later date on either side with a colorful cluster of flowers, the front and reverse with insects beneath the spout and behind the turquoise-and-gilt heightened S-scroll handle, and the rim and lower body encircled by a turquoise trellis diaper border edged in gilt scrollwork issuing small floral sprigs. It has some speckling.
