DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Wet Blue"-ground pear shaped-milk jug. The jug is reserved with three fan-shaped panels painted in shades of rose, iron-red, yellow, grey, and green with an exotic bird amidst leafy shrubbery, edged in gilding issuing gilt floral and foliate sprigs and alternating with two gilt-edged roundels painted with an insect. The rim is edged in gilding. There is a tiny chip on the spout and the cover is missing.
