DescriptionThis is a pair of 'Royal Lily' Pattern Plates. Each piece painted in the center with a gilt-heightened blossom and scrolling foliage within a blue-ground roundel patterned with gilt blossoms and herringbone panels repeated as a border around the russet-edged scalloped and barbed rim, and enclosing ten fan-shaped panels of stylized water lilies. Crescent marks in underglaze-blue.
