DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Scarlet Japan" pattern coffee cup (A) and saucer (B) painted in iron-red, blue, green, and gilding with three panels on the coffee cup and four panels on the saucer of prunus branches or chrysanthemums alternating with gilt-diapered orange panels reserved with a mons above and iron red floral border on the cup and roundel on the saucer enclosing on the saucer a further mons.
