DescriptionThis is a Worcester "Scarlet Japan" pattern fluted wast bowl painted in iron-red, blue, green, and gilding with four panels of prunus branches or chrysanthemums alternating with gilt-diapered orange panels reserved with a mons above and iron red floral border. The rim is scalloped with a red line below the gilt edge. The center of the interior has a mons and four foliate sprigs. The center is worn.
