DescriptionThis is a Worcester yellow-ground reticulated circular large basket. It is painted in shades of rose, purple, yellow, and green with two bouquets and scattered sprigs in the center with further floral sprigs around the gilt-edged rim. The sides are formed by interlocking circlets applied at the intersections of the pale yellow exterior with green-centered rose florets. Affixed to the rim are two gilt-heightened puce rope-twist handles terminating in an iron-red or blue floret and three green leaves.
