DescriptionThis is a Worcester Chinoiserie 'Chelsea Ewer' Milk Jug. The spirally fluted oval body molded around the base with conforming acanthus leaves and affixed with an iron-red-heightened elaborate scroll handle, and painted on either side with a Chinese figure and a small boy in a fenced garden within an iron-red-edged panel reserved on a gilt scrollwork ground further reserved with smaller floral panels.
